Our world

Made slowly, worn meaningfully

The materials, process and care behind Advika Jewellery.

Advika Jewellery makes chudas, bangles, rings, necklaces and earrings by hand, from Gujarat. Every piece starts as an acrylic base and is built up from there - shaped, joined and finished by hand rather than pulled off a factory line. It is slower work, but it is the only way we know to make something that feels like it belongs on your wrist for a wedding morning, not just in a box.

The chuda - a full set of bangles worn together, most often by a bride - sits at the heart of what we make. Alongside it we make single bangles and smaller sets for everyday wear, in the same traditional styles and colourways, built the same way.

We work in acrylic rather than glass or lac because it holds colour and detail well and travels safely - an important thing for a business that ships across the whole of India, often to a bride who cannot afford for her chuda to arrive in pieces.

Everything here is handmade, in India, to order or from small batches - which is also why sizing matters so much to us. Our size guide exists because we would rather you measure carefully once than have to write to us about a replacement afterwards.
